A more flexible stock rule
Here are the details for this mode. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. Relaxed Spider on pewtgssb.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls.
Deal into empty columns
Keep these points in mind. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves.
Read the opening
Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals.
Move a single card
A few details help explain this feature. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card.
Move a group
Here are the details for this mode. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later.

A few details help explain this feature. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock.
Stock deals are still shared
A few details help explain this feature. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns.
Collect matching runs
A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider.
Practice the variant
Here are the details for this mode. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable.
