NOTES FROM THE TABLE

Your personal game record

A few details help explain this feature. The table is a personal record rather than a public leaderboard. The table covers standard Spider, challenge modes and the additional variants. No player account is required to view local results. My Statistics on pewtgssb.com reads results saved by this browser.

The started counter

Keep these points in mind. Replay or New game creates another attempt that counts after its first successful action. Opening a page without taking a successful action does not count as starting a game. Resuming an already counted attempt does not add another start. A game counts as started when you make its first successful move or stock deal.

When a win counts

Here are the details for this mode. A counted win is not added again by undoing and redoing the final action in the same attempt. A win is recorded when the game collects all runs required by its rules. A newly replayed attempt can record another win if you finish it. Standard Spider requires eight runs while the single-deck variants require four.

Read the win rate

The following details apply here. A row with no recorded starts shows a dash for its win rate. The win rate describes local play history and does not measure whether every deal was solvable. The win rate compares recorded wins with recorded starts for one row. Unfinished attempts remain part of the started total.

Best completed move count

Keep these points in mind. Undo restores the earlier move count along with the earlier card arrangement. Best moves is the lowest final move count among recorded wins in that row. A successful stock deal counts as one action in the move counter. The best-moves value is a practice record rather than a verified competitive score.

How the timer is used

The following details apply here. An older saved statistics record without a measured winning time displays a dash until a timed win is recorded. The timer runs during started, unfinished play while the page is visible. Undo does not rewind elapsed time. Best time is the shortest elapsed time among wins that include a timed record.

Read each table row

Here are the details for this mode. Winning Deals has one row for its verified one-suit collection. Standard Spider has separate rows for one suit, two suits and four suits. Daily Challenge, Numbered Deals and Relaxed Spider each have three suit-specific rows. Spiderette, Simple Simon and Scorpion each have their own row.

Dated challenges you finished

The following details apply here. The daily completion total counts distinct saved challenge-date and suit combinations. Winning the same dated challenge twice does not add a second distinct completion. Daily wins in the results table can include repeated completed attempts. The completion list is stored locally and retains up to 2200 dated entries.

Saving and clearing

A few details help explain this feature. New results are retained only when game saving is enabled and browser storage is available. The website cannot recover records after the browser has removed them. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear application game data. Clearing local game data also removes the statistics used by this page.

Browser and domain boundaries

A few details help explain this feature. Results stay in the current browser profile on this domain. A shared browser profile can expose saved results to other people using that profile. Another browser, device or domain has its own local records. A completed verified deal counts as a win even when Solution step was used to finish it.
